2. Collecting personal information
We collect information in several ways by:
(a) Data volunteered by visiting the website;
(b) By contacting Kings Road Dental or one of its representatives by phone, email or in person. We may collect, store (on paper, electronically or otherwise) and use the following kinds of personal information:
(a) information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website (including your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths);
(b) Information that you provide to us when filling in enquiery form on our website (including your email address);
(c) Information that you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our email notifications and/or newsletters (including your name and email address);
(d) Information that you post to our website or social media for publication on the internet (including your user name, profile pictures and reviews);
(e) Information contained in or relating to any communications that you send to us (including the communication content and Meta data associated with the communication);
(f) Any other personal information that you choose to send to us.
Before you disclose to us the personal information of another person, you must obtain that person’s consent to both the disclosure and the processing of that personal information in accordance with the terms of this policy.

If you submit personal information for publication on our website, we will publish and otherwise use that information in accordance with the licence you grant to us.
We will not, without your express consent, supply your personal information to any third party for the purpose of their or any other third party’s direct marketing.
4 Disclosing personal information
We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. We may share your personal data with our suppliers, agents or contractors in connection with servcies they perform for us or pursuant to agreements with its suppliers.

Information that we collect will not be stored, processed or transferred between any countries.

We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password- and firewall-protected) servers.
You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version.

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you; provision of such information will be subject to:
The supply of appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, we will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).
We may withhold personal information that you request to the extent permitted by law.
You may instruct us at any time not to process your personal information for marketing purposes.

Part 3: Making Changes to Your Personal Data
You can edit, update your preferences or any of the personal data that you have provided by contacting Kings Road Dental.
Part 4: Changes to the Privacy Statement

The practice keeps records of your name, address, date of birth and details of any health problems as well as details of your dental treatment and details about your family. We keep this information so that we can provide you with the best dental care. Your personal information is kept very confidentially and securely.
We only use your personal information so we can give you the best dental care and for sending reminders to you.
We only pass your personal information to another dentist, doctor or hospital if you have a problem that needs their special skills and you need to go and see them. We will not give your information to anyone else unless the law allows us to or we have to provide it for legal reasons.
If you leave the practice, we will stop using your information but will keep it confidentially and securely until you are 25 years old, when we will review if and when we can delete it. You can always ask for a copy of the information we hold for you, we can transfer it to another dentist or doctor at your request and you can ask us to stop using your personal information to send letters or contact you in other ways if you are no longer a patient at the practice.
When you reach 18 years of age the Privacy Notice about how we process your personal information will change to the adult version. This can be found on our website.
